The Fall Equinox has arrived on September 22, 2022, so that marks the first day of Fall. The change of season invites some new outdoor activities and Fall in Virginia means heading to the mountains for an exhilarating hike to see the spectacular views and fall foliage, a trip to the local corn maze where you can purposefully get lost, not to mention a pumpkin patch, yeah! Make sure to pick out some good pumpkins to carve later, roast the pumpkin seeds while you are having fun with kids carving, or consider painting some fun faces on the pumpkins. A visit to a local winery or wine festival, or picking apples off the trees of a local apple orchard, while enjoying some tasty hot apple cider. Don’t leave out an inviting outdoor get together with friends and family and a large cozy bonfire is always fun, don’t forget the marshmallows or s’mores. Always a must, some crockpot cooking with all the favorite comfort foods is what we all think about and look all so forward to this time of year. Happy Fall Y’all!
