Teresa, the Principal Broker/Owner of T.Y. Realty Inc. is very enthusiastic about real estate and connecting with with people while assisting them with their home purchase, sale, or other real estate needs.With twenty-three years of knowledge, her diverse experience brings so much to each individual and their needs, whether its a first time home buyer or an experience investor, Teresa is ready to give the consulting advise that is needed. Her diversity runs with different property types from land, residential and SML lake homes, commercial, multifamily, retail, warehouses and consulting. Teresa has been in Forest 1999 and loves the southwest Virginia area. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, kayaking/paddle boarding at the lake, yoga, and long walks with her best buddie, Sailor.
Teresa has experience working in all aspects of the real estate industry from financing, commercial financing to all property types, especially residential sales. A small family operation with her husband Yesh Khanna, a loan officer and mortgage broker with T.Y. Mortgage. Their two daughters Salina and Sonya are also part of the TY Team.
Salina Khanna
Raised in Forest, moved back to southwest Virginia to join the family business. She has studied Political Science, Spanish, yoga, farming and permaculture and birthwork.

Salina has lived abroad in Colombia and speaks Spanish. She enjoys dancing, reading, and exploring new places. She teaches yoga and works with herbal medicine in her spare time. She raises livestock and farms vegetables with her partner, Mitchell, in Amherst.
She considers it a pleasure and an honor to work alongside her broker/mother, Teresa. She loves learning with her Team TY colleagues and believes they are creating a dynamic group to serve the southwest VA community and surrounding areas. She tries language learning from her clients (Spanish, Italian, Hindi) to serve a diverse and broad range of people. Her education in English as a Second Language offers an opportunity to assist those who speak English as a foreign language. She is currently working in residential, commercial, investment properties as well as land sales. She serves Amherst County, Bedford County, Campbell County, Rockbridge County, Albemarle County, and all surrounding areas. If it’s out of our service area, we have a wide-ranging referral network!

I have spent 10 years working with Lynchburg's top agents as a transaction coordinator and as a realtor in Lynchburg VA, and the surrounding counties. I come equipped with a world of knowledge and experience.

I also bring with me a master’s degree in psychology and a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and use all my skills to serve you and guide you through the transactions of buying and selling your home. I have a huge passion for tiny home living, farmland, homesteads and self-sufficient living. I enjoy farming and crafting as well as I absolutely love soccer! Chickens and other poultry are my specialty on my farm. Just recently moved to Buchanan, VA and expanded my area to serve more!
