Spring forward to New Beginnings. Selling tips so you can start looking for a New Home

Who doesn’t look forward to Spring? I’m sure there’s someone out there, but really for the most part it is long awaited to see green grass, flowers and all of nature coming back to life. And with the weather warming and our desire to be outside more often, all creating that infectious Spring Fever!

It’s a wonderful time to list your property. Every spring more listings hit the market and with good intentions, since more people are getting outdoors and want to start the house hunting too. This year isn’t much different, the very low interest rates are great for any home buyer and the market is extremely hot! Easily, “a Seller’s Market”. The past February, we were seeing multiple offers with escalation clauses, and properties going under contract immediately after they were listed. It Wouldn’t be nice to have multiple offers on your home…and drive your offering price to higher than what you have it listed for?

Follow my suggested ideas below and please give me a call for a listing consultation so we can get your home Sold!

My best advise if your listing your home to sell is; make sure it is a shiny penny.

  • Make sure you have viewed your own home with your most critical eye, and cleaned with white gloves. It cannot be too clean. People want to look in closets and kitchen cabinets, basements, garages, and attics. They look and sell better when not cluttered. Please de-clutter your entire home!
  • It should not look lived-in, but staged, and please fix everything!
  • Curl appeal from the very first look. Exteriors should be very inviting.
  • Your home needs to appeal to the sense of smell as well! The fresh smell of spring flowers, freshly baked cookies or just a very nice clean aroma.
  • Know your competition!

Create your own Paradise!
